Yesterday, 26 June 2014, the Onionpatch Academy held its 2014 Graduation Ceremony at the St. Paul AME Centennial Hall. Fourteen students graduated. Parents, grandparents, sibling, aunts, uncles and cousins watched as students recited the 7 Habits and performed dances and songs. Mrs. Judith Welch, the owner of the school noted that this class will hold a special place in Onionpatch history because many of the graduates were some of the school's first students including the first student ever registered and the first student present when the doors opened in August 2011. Mrs Welch urged her 'onions' to never stop learning and as they move to the next level they must remember the Onionpatch motto and strive to ever be the best. Parent, Lindsey Kipps, inspired the students with a story about Marty the Mouse who follows his dreams into space with determination. She urged them to never give up and continue to follow their dreams.

Well done to the staff at the school for putting on a first class presentation!
We want to thank all those who helped make the Mother's Day Lunch possible. In particular staff of The Onionpatch Academy and The MarketPlace which provided the brown paper bag lunches and the decorations. Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers!
We are pleased to announce that The Onionpatch Academy was adopted by St. Paul AME Church for World Book Day.
